+1 on kudos! I gave a talk on nmap nse yesterday in Buenos Aires, Argentina, for a local university.
When NSE first became available, I wrote the SMTP Open Relay and HTTP Open Proxy scripts, and made a
talk around the open relay one, showing how more than 50% of .edu.ar's MXes were Open Relays.
Yesterday, we run a real-time test against the same set of hosts, and only 5 were still open relays.
I think Nmap NSE is to blame on that :)
