RE: script scanning question -- answered

To confirm that the script engine runs successfully, try using -v so Nmap
displays verbose output. You should then see something like:

SCRIPT ENGINE: Initiating script scanning.
Initiating SCRIPT ENGINE at 16:35
Completed SCRIPT ENGINE at 16:36, 30.10s elapsed

The script you chose appears to only add information to the scan results if
the service is vulnerable.

Right on the money as usual. I ran the command w/ -v and it indeed was running the scripting engine. I checked the
script and as Rob suggested, it only outputs if a vulnerable state is found. I made a copy of the script to a personal
folder and modified it so that "not vulnerable" would print in those cases and sure enough, I got it to output.

Thanks Rob! This list is top-notch as always.
Aaron
