Hi folks,

Hi jah!

I've been playing with ncat and not having much success with piping
commands or redirecting files to it when using --socks4-proxy 127.0.0.1
and ssh -ND 1080 <ssh_host_ip>.

<snip>

So am I going nuts or is there something wrong with ncat? Anyone else
reproduce it?

Don't worry, for better or worse you've kept your sanity for one more day.

Thanks for the report. I could reproduce your problem and I've committed the
fix. The problem was similar to what you described: the data read from stdin
was being sent across the network before the we were fully connected to the proxy.

Unfortunately, some aspects of writing a network client become more
complicated and troublesome when implemented with Nsock.

jah

Thanks again,
