I'm a computer engineer graduated from METU <http://www.metu.edu.tr/>
and I've one year to complete master degree in cryptography, I. Applied Math

I am interested in security issues and networking,

I have no detailed information about nmap,
can you give any advice so that  I can improve my background before gsoc
2008 starts...
