I had to make one very small change to your patch to suit my build
environment and the rest was plain-sailing.  Great instructions.
I'm now a happy SSL enabled nmap user, so a big thank you!
before:

    PORT     STATE SERVICE VERSION
    8443/tcp open  ssl     Microsoft IIS SSL

after

    PORT     STATE SERVICE  VERSION
    8443/tcp open  ssl/http Microsoft IIS webserver 6.0
