Both configure and ./configure CPP=/usr/bin/cpp hang at checking if g77 PIC flag -fno-common works... both 4.20 and 4.22OC6. I've verified my clock is set correctly, and have waited about 20 minutes. Any clues? I never had problems compiling nmap on my old Powerbook G4. I tried compiling the 4.10 source that did work on my old PB and the config hung at the same point. Thanks. - Mick
How does it work if you regenerate the configure script using autoconf? Does that still get checked for? Does it succeed?
