Hello List,

Thomas, please send your scripts as attachments :) copying and
pasting them into my editor tends to break their formatting besides
being tedious.

Here's hoping someone with more programming gumption than I've got
will
take a look at this and get something going.
perhaps we can make giving NSE some SNMP interface a SoC task? For
now I have added your script to the soc07 nmap branch - lets see what
happens. It will either be made obsolete by providing NSE with more
verbose SNMP functionality or it will serve as a template for simple
SNMP scripts.

On a similar topic, another binding that I think would be well suited
for nmap would be some sort of interface to the OpenSSL library. It
would be great to be able to do some inspection of SSL-wrapped ports
through the NSE system, but I'm unaware of any simple methods for
doing
that at this point.
OpenSSL is definitely on the list for this SoC. Reimplementing MD5 &
co is simply not fun :)

Thanks for the script and the ideas.

cheers,
Diman
