I have just checked into soc07 (r4886) an addition to my last patch to incorporate something like that. Using -D 10, for example, gave me 0.0.0.10. So, in case somebody actually wants that behavior, I've done it like this: -D rnd gives you one random address -D rnd:X gives you X random addresses -D rnd: is allowed and only gives one.
