I'm getting nothing returned when I do port installed libpcap I'm guessing that that means the system dosn't have libpcap installed...yes? If so I guess I gotta install it... thanks Jim On Apr 6, 2007, at 5:43 AM, Hugo T R wrote:
Hi. Please show your output for $ port installed libpcap I did a little test $ curl http://download.insecure.org/nmap/dist/nmap-4.20.tar.bz2 | tar jxf - $ cd nmap-4.20/ $ ./configure --with-libpcap=/opt/local --without-nmapfe $ make and it just worked. Try running ./configure --with-libpcap=/opt/local and not --with-libpcap=/opt/local/lib -htr _______________________________________________ Sent through the nmap-dev mailing list http://cgi.insecure.org/mailman/listinfo/nmap-dev Archived at http://SecLists.Org
