Here it is in a nutshell:

# /usr/local/bin/nmap -sP 10.50.1.0/24

Starting Nmap 4.11 ( http://www.insecure.org/nmap/ ) at 2006-11-15 15:46 EST
Assertion failed: 0, file scan_engine.cc, line 1684
Abort (core dumped)

(gdb) where
#0  0xff0a05c8 in _libc_kill () from /usr/lib/libc.so.1
#1  0xff036d58 in abort () from /usr/lib/libc.so.1
#2  0xff036ff8 in _assert () from /usr/lib/libc.so.1
#3  0x00064998 in HostScanStats::getTiming(ultra_timing_vals*) ()

#uname -a
SunOS testhost 5.9 Generic_118558-34 sun4u sparc SUNW,Sun-Fire-V210

I built nmap with ./configure --without-nmapfe --with-localdirs (but
also without --withlocaldirs)

I'm not sure what else I can tell you. Any ideas?

Thanks.
