FW: Nmap 4.20ALPHA3

I don't think my original email was very clear, since I was writing it in a
hurry, but here is what is happening.

I do something along the lines of nmap -sV host

It says:

OS scan requested but I cannot find nmap-os-db file. It should be in
c:\nmap, ~/.nmap/ or .

Any ideas?

Take care,
Sina

Not to be picky :)

But, apparently the nmap-os-db file is no longer included by default?

I know we had some discussion on here about grabbing it from online for
updates, as I recall? ... But I thought a general copy would be included
with the install package?

Thanks much

Take care,
Sina

Oops, I forgot to include links to those.

Thanks for the report. In general, new Nmap releases can be found in the
Nmap dist directory:
