Hey Doug, Ran what you sent. You were right. Turned out there was an old version somewhere. # nmap -sV -d2 localhost |grep Fetch Fetchfile found /root/.nmap/nmap-services Fetchfile found /root/.nmap/nmap-service-probes ServiceProbeMatch::InitMatch: parse error on line 44 of nmap-service-probes QUITTING! # Removed the old directory and we are good to go! After I sent my initial e-mail, I noticed the incompatibility warning regarding Redhat 9. Even tho this box is Fedora Core 1, I thought that might have screwed me. Glad to see I won't have to rebuild with another distro. Thanks again!
