Nmap 3.93 fails.

I am having a problem running Nmap 3.93 on my Windows XP SP-2 system. The problem I am seeing is :

Nmap has encountered a problem and needs to close.

I removed Wincap 3.1 then reinstalled. As well I rebooted after the removal then again after the installation. I also 
removed Nmap and reinstalled.
Do you have any other suggestions?
