From README-WIN32

These keys were changed:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters]
"MaxUserPort", with a large value like 65534 (0x0000fffe). See
MS KB Q196271. The default is Default: 0x1388 (5000 decimal).
"TcpTimedWaitDelay" with the minimum value (0x0000001e). [See MS
KB 149532] The default is Default: 0xF0 (240 decimal)
"StrictTimeWaitSeqCheck" with a value of 1 (so TcpTimedWaitDelay
is checked) - If this is 0 or does not exist, the "TcpTimedWaitDelay"
is not checked.

It probably won't hurt to leave them as is.

Cheers,
  kx

How do you properly uninstall nmap 3.95 on Windows XP, and remove any registry changes made by nmap_performance.reg?
