Hi Folks!

For those of you who doesn't know what Umit is, here follows a short
description of it:
"UMIT is the newest nmap frontend, and it's been developed in Python
and GTK and was started with the sponsoring of Google's Summer of Code
2005 and 2006.

The project goal is to develop a nmap frontend that is really useful
for advanced users and easy to be used by newbies. With UMIT, a
network admin can create scan profiles for faster and easier network
scanning or even compare scan results to easily see any host changes
inside a network. A regular user will also be able to construct
powerful scans with UMIT command creator wizards.

The current version, 0.9.3-RC2, features the following:
   * Quick scan a host or network using scan profiles with a
pre-defined nmap command
   * Group and order hosts and ports to get a better view of the
informations the scan has returned
   * Yes! It does show you the so loved nmap text output that you're
already used to! And more: With a color highlighting system to ease
its read and understanding
   * Get a vulnerability level for each scanned host
   * Cool icons to represent each machine operating system found
   * List hosts by ports and services. This way, you can easily
discover which hosts are serving ssh and http in your network, for
example
   * Nmap commmand construction Wizard. This wizard allows you to
easily create powerfull nmap commands by pointing and clicking your
mouse. The nmap command creation is shown in real time, and you can
adequate and fine tune it in the end if you wish
   * The wizard can be modified by the user, so, if you have a new
nmap with a cool new feature, you can put it on your wizard by your
own
   * Compare results has three modes: text diff, HTML diff and the
Comparison mode. The text diff is a regular diff between the two
scan's output. The same occours at the HTML diff, but you'll end up
with a prettier version of the diff that can be viewed in a browser.
The comparison mode is the newest one, and generate a read-only
comparison that compares more informations than the other modes. With
these features, you can easily know what has changed in your network
since last week, for example.
   * Every unsaved result is saved in umit local database for latter
search. The search on results feature allows you to search scans into
the umit database or inside a scan result directory in your
filesystem.
   * Do multiple scans simultaneously
   * Even more features that you're going to experience if you try it!"
