Yep! XML output is coming soon. I had some discussions in mid-june with Fredrick Paul Eisele <phreed () netarx com>, who sent me some patches for XML output and we discussed some XML-related issues. I've been sitting on them for a while since I want to change the XML output format a bit before incorporation into nmap. But in case your impatient :), I've attached the patches he sent me (not context diffs unfortunately) and some mail we exchanged. I'm also attaching his sample output. If you want to suggest changes to the sample output or discuss other XML issues, please mail the Nmap development list: nmap-dev () insecure org . To subscribe to that list, send a blank email to nmap-dev-subscribe () insecure org .
