The Perl code I have seen so far (shell commandline! argh! you fork the process as a child, give it a well defined environment and pass the arguments in directly via ARGV at the very least) has frightened me anyway. Please be very careful with what you do.
Heya, hows it goin? i'm sitting here, on a friday night, with nothing to do because i have no life, getting drunk , going through code none the less, reading some mail, etc etc. Its actually quite funny all this critique i get over something i wrote because i was annoyed that all people do on this list is talk talk talk. Lets see some code. If you can write something better, let me see it? IMHO the whole idea of a cgi-based IP scanner is disturbing to me. And thus why i thought it might be "a joke" at the most, to actually spend the five minutes and write one. ajax
