Hi, I'm running nmap 2.07 with options -sU -p123. Both source and destination machines are Solaris 2.x and are on the same subnet. It's taking forever. truss reveals that it's doing getmsg(5,....) in what seems to be an infinite loop, where descriptor 5 corresponds to /dev/hme. Thanks Igor
Actually, now that I looked at it more, -sX, -sU, -sN and -sF don't work at all under Solaris 2.6 in versions later than 2.03. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Here's another problem that I have: If I run nmap -sT localhost as a user, it works fine. If I run nmap -sT localhost as a root, I got the error pcap_open_live: /dev/lo0: No such file or directory Any ideas? Thanks Igor
