I just wanted to let everyone know the NMAP stubs are finally on FTP servers, and I got a small page up to go with. Currently the web page resides at: www.acu.umb.edu/rfpuppy And the associated primary anonymous FTP is: ftp.acu.umb.edu/pub/nmapstub There is also a secondary web site to download off of: www.angio.net/security/rfp in case you have FTP problems. Thank you to Tony Bettini and David Andersen for the access. From this point, I plan on posting all announcements and updates to www.acu.umb.edu/rfpuppy, so please check there. If there's a revelation or significant breakthrough, I may post it to the list, but I don't want to spam it with silly little updates. ;) Currently, the two stubs (C and Perl) that reside there now are the same ones I sent to the list a while back. I plan on updating the Perl stub this weekend, but leave the C stub as bait to get some programmer help me to A. make it more efficient (and robust), and B. implement machine readable format parsing. I do plan, however, in rewriting the C stub to be better self contained in a single function, rather than being a shell for your program. More on this will be posted to the site. And yes, thank you Fyodor for NMAP. :) .rain.forest.puppy. 'faith in chaos' <-- sig I stole from Tony Bettini. Thanks again, Tony.:)
