Hello. Why doesn't nmap-2.00 recognize SSH? If I portscan mye computer here, you'll get this report; 21 open tcp ftp 22 open tcp unknown 53 open tcp domain 80 open tcp http 110 open tcp pop-3 113 open tcp auth 119 open tcp nntp As you can see, it recognizes all services except ssh (port 22). I can't quite see the reason for this? Regards, -- Vegard Svanberg <vegard () gravityzone com>
Edit your /etc/services It would be pretty silly to say what is actually running on the port sine I can put fingerd on 22 and sshd on 139. -- Yan
