The maximum you can expect is:

Rate < (MSS/RTT)*(1 / sqrt(p)) where p is the probability of packet loss.

Hello folks,

Does anyone know what's the average speed for windows file transferring
(SMB2) between Hong Kong and Johannesburg?
Any guide on how to calculate/estimate this?

Thanks.
