There's also the bug R&E data center being built in Holyoke and I'm guessing most fiber runs back to people who put 
stuff there will go via Springfield...  Might be of interest to people who don't have/want dark fiber all the way...  I 
also think (but might be off) that OSEAN and some other regional state & R&E networks have a presence there.
