I've been told that the looking glass needs some knowledge about Internet2's routing architecture to use properly, and that I had misinterpreted its output. Sorry about that.
Shouldn't this cause quite a few problems for Internet2 downstreams? (We received a report from an academic site in Brazil that some security.debian.org IPv6 instances are inaccessible, that's why I looked.)
That site hasn't got global IPv6 transit, and it's likely that this is causing the reachability issue (d'oh).
