You might want to consider what the Internet/2 folks are doing because they
have a few years of experience with Jumbo frames. This page <

shows you the actual MTUs in use on Internet/2 devices.

They are particularly useful for customers who want to send data between
data centres because they usually have the ability to set a large MTU on all
interfaces on their side.
