Querying from here (inside 69.59.128.0/18), I see sen-dmzp.senate.gov (156.33.195.40) and sen-dmzs.senate.gov 
(156.33.195.41) returning authoritatively for senate.gov:

What if you query the nameservers directly by IP instead of by name?
