Ask the customer to install Ethereal on the computer sending the file and dump all data on the TCP session and send it to you, then use the Ethereal function "speed over time" or what it's called. It'll use the TCP information in the packet dump to determine over time what speed the transfer was. If the speed is saw-toothing over time you might have a very aggressive policer on the way which is hit by the faster line, but not with the slower one. -- Mikael Abrahamsson email: swmike () swm pp se
