Is this still the norm? In regards to not using "no ip route-cache". I recall reading somewhere in Cisco documentation that in BGP multihomed scenarios that it was the preferred method of control on non-CEF gear.
If that's still in the documentation, it's an oversight. Please see my other message on the performance effects of process switching. S
