I asked Merit about this last year. Apparently it thinks any announcement between a /25 and /32 is a "host" announcement. As far as I know no IP registry has issued any address longer than a /24 split between more than one organization. Given that both 128.88.250.0/27 and 128.88.250.32/29 are being announced by the identical ASN and identical upstreams, perhaps they could aggregate it into a single announcement.
