ATM NAP Workshop -- Revised Schedule

A number of people have expressed concern about the amount of time that
the second ATM NAP Workshop was to take up.  Accordingly, we have
decided to shorten it;  it will run from 9:00 am until noon on Tues.,
Dec. 6.

Place:  Santa Cruz Room
        Hotel Sainte Claire
        302 South Market Street
        San Jose, CA 95113
        (a three-minute walk from the Fairmont)

Time:   Tuesday, December 6, 1994
        9:00 - 12:00

There won't be time for the full agenda that we had planned.  Therefore,
the workshop will focus on status reports (from NAP operators, vendors,
and NSPs) and on issues to be addressed in some future forum (TBD).

Draft (very drafty) agenda:

    o  NAP and NSP status reports
       -  Pacific Bell
       -  Ameritech
       -  MFS
       -  ANS
       -  MCI
       -  SprintLink
       -  Routing Arbiter
    o  Vendor status
       -  Cisco
       -  Bay Networks (Wellfleet/SynOptics)
       -  Fore Systems
       -  Representatives of Kentrox and Digital Link will be
          available to take questions.
    o  ATM interoperability and performance test preliminary results
    o  Discussion of open issues
       -  Plan for testing and acceptance of ATM NAPs
       -  Ongoing performance criteria
       -  Others?
