By default the nmap importer doesn't include hosts with no open services -
this was intentional and the result of user feedback about ranges that
always returned alive during ping scans. The current approach works, but has
the downside that you described, and we are looking into reverting this back
and making it easier to delete "bad" hosts.

Subject: [framework] db_nmap

I'm running: BT5 R2
Framework: 4.3.0-release.15176
Console : 4.3.0-release.15168

So I've recently become a big fan of the metasploit database integration.
On a job I typically like to run an nmap ping sweep to find what's live then
do further scans against the output of the ping sweep.

problem I'm having is when I do

msf> db_nmap -sP 10.0.1.0/24

I get the output of the command but the results don't get shoveled into the
postgres database like when I do a syn scan.
I was hoping I could pingsweep then do a more full scan against the live
ones in the db

can anyone tell me if this is a bug or am I just messing up here.
