db_destroy error

i followed the tut provided in the official site for using postgress as 
database with metasploit
every thing works good except destroying the db i got the following error:
msf exploit(handler) > db_destroy
/usr/lib/postgresql/8.4/bin/dropdb: relocation error: 
/usr/lib/libpq.so.5: symbol SSL_CTX_set_client_cert_cb, version 
OPENSSL_0.9.8 not defined in file libssl.so.0.9.8 with link time reference
