exe2vba Word Macro Problem

Created a meterpreter payload and converted it to vba using the exe2vba
tool. I am putting the code into a word doc as a macro. I can run the macro
just fine by running it manually. However, when opening the document I get a
"Run-time" error '13': Type mismatch" error. It brings me to this line in
the code:

Zhced6 = Mid(Zhced11, Zhced8, 4)

Any idea why this throws an error when the doc is open?
