Sorry it was AV picking it up, it seems the best solution now is too create my own template John On Mon, May 24, 2010 at 4:42 PM, HD Moore <hdm () metasploit com> wrote:

But if I use the framework it works fine, any ideas? There are three issues you may be running into: 1) The system is running an AV package that is deleting the binary or otherwise preventing it from running. This is a disadvantage of using generated EXEs from a template and we are working on a better long-term solution. 2) The system only allows signed executables to be launched by default. This is the case with Server 2003 R2 by default and other operating systems when the policy indicates. 3) Your local system is firewalling the inbound connection. Make sure the Windows Firewall is disabled on Windows and iptables is clear on Linux. A fourth, but much less common issue is that the current service template is not compatible with Windows NT 4.0. -HD _______________________________________________ https://mail.metasploit.com/mailman/listinfo/framework
