Metasploitable is a great idea; thanks for providing it.

As a follow-up to the above: If the VMDK doesn't work for other VM
solutions, is it just a stock Ubuntu 8.04 server install, or would
someone have some instructions or pointers on "here are the install
options that should help you create your own"?
