Hey Robin, that's actually pretty handy thanks.

I now dream of the old AOL voice saying "You've got shell!"  Simple enough
to change the sound file, perhaps something from TF2.

Ye, it started as a bit of a laugh but then I found it was actually
useful both in my lab and I reckon it will be if you send out some
client side exploits and don't want to sit and watch the screen for
the sessions to come back.

If people want I could look at building it in properly rather than
just as a quick hack.

Subject: [framework] new little patch

Hi
I've just released a patch to have Metasploit play a wav file when a
new session is created, similar to the "agent deployed" in Core from
what I've been told.

It was originally just for a laugh but I then went on to play with
some client side stuff in my lab and it was nice to be able to hear
when the exploit had worked without having to switch back and forth
between my VM and my console.

It could be made a lot better, I was thinking of having a global
variable to turn it on and off and to set the wav file to use but for
now this basic version will do me.

Grab it from here http://www.digininja.org/metasploit/session_created.php

Robin
