Ruby readline speed issue

Hello,

I have been experiencing some really bad speed issues when using
msfconsole; I have only tested it on Ubuntu 9.10 x64. The issue occurs
when editing the middle of a line or using the command buffer(up
arrow), it is really slow. Is this a known issue or am I the only one
experiencing this?
