Automating Meterpreter

I've had very successful results using the automate meterpreter listed 
below.  A quick question.  What does it mean when the process says:

Cleaning HKCU...
Cleaning HKLM...

... etc.

I know it's not clearing out those registry items so what exactly is 
implied here?
