Hi Border, i downloaded the 2.7-branch of msf to see, if the update happens via subversion and it happens. So search for "servers"-file below ".subversion". There you are going to find the settings svn update uses to download updates through a proxy. This should work with both versions: windows and *nix.
[global] # http-proxy-exceptions = *.exception.com, www.internal-site.org # http-proxy-host = defaultproxy.whatever.com # http-proxy-port = 7000 # http-proxy-username = defaultusername # http-proxy-password = defaultpassword # http-compression = no # No http-timeout, so just use the builtin default. # No neon-debug-mask, so neon debugging is disabled. # ssl-authority-files = /path/to/CAcert.pem;/path/to/CAcert2.pem
Some sources dealing with svn update through a proxy can be found here: 1) [ENGLISH] http://subversion.tigris.org/faq.html#proxy 2.0) [GERMAN-TO-ENGLISH] http://translate.google.com/translate?u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.fh-bochum.de%2Ffb3%2Fmeva-lab%2Fdocu%2Fsubversion-install-tipp.txt&langpair=de%7Cen&hl=de&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&prev=%2Flanguage_tools 2.1) [GERMAN] http://www.fh-bochum.de/fb3/meva-lab/docu/subversion-install-tipp.txt Best regards /d Appendix: servers Border schrieb:
