myself I'm not sure but if I remember, look at the fileversion of lic98.dll / lic98rmt.exe , if it is 1.61.2 or below , it's vuln , if it's 1.61.8 , already patched. ------------------------------------------------------------- class101 Jr. Researcher Hat-Squad.com ------------------------------------------------------------- ----- Original Message ----- From: Michael Cameron To: framework at metasploit.com Sent: Friday, March 11, 2005 4:48 PM Subject: [framework] Exploiting CA Client License Overflow. Hello, I've tried numerous times to exploit CA License Overflow. I've installed eTrust Pest Patrol 5 on a English Windows XP SP2 machine. Have CA updated their software? I'd be really interested in an answer. I've never actually exploited anything with the framework, but I'm a great fan of the concept! Thanks in advance. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL: <http://mail.metasploit.com/pipermail/framework/attachments/20050311/09d7942f/attachment.htm>
