Forwarded from: Research <research (at) tacticalintelligence.org> We are security researchers looking for volunteers to participate in two projects. The first is a 6 month study whose ideal participants are sysadmins of internet-facing Linux devices (preferably hobbyist machines running services like ftp, stfp, ssh, telnet) who are able to make changes to service configurations, and can provide us (cleansed) log information on at least a monthly basis. After the study period is completed we will compile the data and present our results in a white paper, which we will circulate to all study participants prior to dissemination to the media/academic world. If interested please contact: research (at) tacticalintelligence.org The second study is looking for subjects that are responsible for security/audit for PCI compliant networks, and who use PCI scanning services to scan their networks for quarterly reports. We would require a *cleansed* copy of your quarterly scans. During the study, all participants will be issued pre-release versions of the tool we intend to build with this data. If interested in helping, please email us at: research (at) tacticalintelligence.org. ___________________________________________________________ Tegatai Managed Colocation: Four Provider Blended Tier-1 Bandwidth, Fortinet Universal Threat Management, Natural Disaster Avoidance, Always-On Power Delivery Network, Cisco Switches, SAS 70 Type II Datacenter.
