http://www.thesmokinggun.com/archive/sobig1.html AUGUST 29 -- A Minnesota teenager was arrested today and charged with unleashing the computer virus that has caused havoc on the Internet and in e-mail boxes nationwide. Jeffrey Lee Parson, an 18-year-old known online as "teekid," admitted to FBI agents that he tweaked the original "Blaster" virus and used the variant to infect the computers of unsuspecting victims, according to the below criminal complaint. During a raid at Parson's Hopkins, Minnesota home, federal agents carted off seven computers, which are now undergoing a forensic analysis.
