http://www.bangkokpost.com/News/20May2003_news07.html Karnjana Karnjanatawe 20 May 2003 The Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Ministry may claim to be the official promoter of all things computer. But it has no claim to being the master of the technology Yesterday, hackers managed to invade its official website and inserted a small news item announcing ICT Minister Surapong Suebwonglee's plan to set up a club for all pornographic sites. It said the club would promote prostitution ``to appease our farang masters''. Mr Surapong, known as Moh Liap, was also said to be thinking up a new package,``$30 for all brothels'' _ apparently alluding to the 30-baht health scheme he helped prepare while at the Public Health Ministry. However, the message was shortlived. By 4.30pm it was deleted. Wuttipong Pongsuwan, the minister's adviser who oversees the website, said the hacker or hackers, still unidentified, had intruded through the office computer system. ``Only the news database was hacked. So far, nothing has been damaged,'' he said. - ISN is currently hosted by Attrition.org To unsubscribe email majordomo () attrition org with 'unsubscribe isn' in the BODY of the mail.
