Fort Collins police are seeking information on the whereabouts of a
college student missing since early Saturday morning.

Lacy Miller, 20, a sophomore at the University of Northern Colorado,
was last seen at 1:30 a.m. Saturday when she dropped off a girlfriend
at the friend's apartment in Fort Collins. Her friend saw Miller drive
off alone.

Miller, who lives with her family in Fort Collins, was reported
missing by her parents when they didn't see her at 6:30 a.m. the same
day.

About 200 people distributed 1,000 leaflets across town on Sunday in
an effort to find her.

Miller is 5 feet, 6 inches tall and weighs 130 pounds. She has
straight, shoulder-length brown hair and blue eyes. She was last seen
wearing a black short-sleeved T-shirt, a white-hooded terrycloth
jacket, faded blue jeans and black shoes.

Miller's car, which police only described as black, was found locked
and parked on the street a few houses down from her parents' home in
Brumbaugh Court in southwest Fort Collins. Police impounded the
vehicle. No evidence of suspicious activity or foul play was found. A
relative told KUNC-TV, Channel 4, on Sunday that Miller only parked
her car in the driveway or in the garage.

"While there is no evidence of foul play, this behavior is so
uncharacteristic of her behavior that her parents and Fort Collins
police felt it was necessary to get information out to the public in
case anyone had any information on her whereabouts," police
spokeswoman Rita Davis said.

Her parents have been unable to reach her on her cell phone, and Davis
said police believe the phone is either turned off or the battery is
dead. Miller did not report to her job at Jim's Wings, 1205 W.  
Elizabeth St., on Saturday evening.

Police were out with search and rescue dogs on Sunday, Davis said, but
the dogs were unable to find Miller's scent. Police have been
interviewing her family and friends and will continue those
interviews.
