Applied Computer Security Applications Conference (ACSAC)
Registration Extended at Early Registration Prices.

We understand that some hopeful attendees are having trouble getting
travel approval. Therefore, higher registration fees will not go into
effect until 1 December 2001 (instead of 15 November). Some hotel
rooms may be available at the Sheraton at the ACSAC block rate (equal
to the US Govt. per diem rate), so be sure to mention this conference
when you reserve.

The 17th ACSAC Advance Program for the 17th Annual Computer Security
Applications Conference (ACSAC) on our web site at www.acsac.org.

The Conference will be held 12 - 14 December 2001 in New Orleans,
Louisiana, USA. Our tutorials will be held on 10 - 11 December 2001

This year's program features 13 tutorials, 42 papers, 4 panels, and a
number of case studies. New this year are three "classic papers", a
"Birds of a Feather" session on Wednesday evening, and a "Works in
Progress" session on Thursday evening.

ACSAC is an internationally recognized conference for information
system security engineers, practitioners, and researchers to exchange
practical ideas about solving critical security problems.
Approximately 300 attendees are expected with a mix of 70% industry,
20% government, and 10% academia. Last year about half the papers
submitted were from outside the U.S.; we welcome global participation
and attendance. For more information about ACSAC, please see our web
page at www.acsac.org
