http://www.theglobeandmail.com/gam/NationalReport/20000607/UNATSM-5.html Wednesday, June 7, 2000 Montreal -- A Montreal teenager accused of crippling at least one major Internet site appeared in court yesterday for a trial date to be set. The 15-year-old high-school student, who cannot be identified under the Young Offenders Act, is scheduled to return to court Aug. 3. Lawyers said they need more time to sift through the mounds of data that investigators have pulled together since the teenager, who goes by the Internet handle Mafiaboy, was arrested in April and charged in an attack on the CNN.com Web site. The boy is charged with mischief in relation to interfering with data and is free on bail. *-------------------------------------------------* "Communications without intelligence is noise; Intelligence without communications is irrelevant."
