The Downing Street internet pages have been hijacked by extremists and bigots accusing Britain of war crimes and other injustices.
This is slightly misleading. No pages were defaced, no hacking or security breaches were involved. What happened was that these comments were posted to a section of the Number 10 site where anyone can post messages and comments (after registering). Saying that the Downing Street pages were "hijacked" is a bit like saying that Slashdot was hijacked because some A.C.'s posted some off-topic messages attacking the US Government. Typical of what I've come to expect from News International's newspapers (Times, Sunday Times, Sun, etc.). D.
