It appears to me, from a concerned citizens perspective, that
observers should offer their views. Mine has been that the Alerts &
Warning that is done by the NIPC is redundant. Many other more adept
and involved sectors perform that service and more accurately. There
is little need to replicate what is already being done by TONS of
other agencies and private sector groups.

How many alerts does a computer take to realize that there is a LOT of
money being spent by a lot of government agencies to do the SAME
thing.

We all have witnessed a particular agency put out an alert after a web
site was hacked and practically the next day or week, the SAME site is
defaced. What is the logic here?

Competent, rationale voices need to be heard... Isn't it time we
started spending efforts to MAKE systems secure??  NOT just tell us
HOW weak our systems are?
