International - South Korean police arrested nine employees of an Internet security firm on Friday and charged them with breaking into some 70 Web sites, a few of which they were supposed to protect from hacking. The illegal operation began in June when the firm organized its so-called "Tiger Team," a special unit staffed by computer experts charged with the task of looking for weaknesses in the homepages of banks, brokerage houses and insurance companies. Nine of the companies had requested security services from the Internet security firm. The Tiger Team members are said to have reported the weaknesses to top managers of the company, and established secret routes for accessing protected information.
