Dave, while it's true that in some cases some personal information is available from a boarding pass, it's not enough 
to warrant alarm and this has been debunked by Snopes.

I found this on a security forum. It turns out that your boarding passes enable access to a lot of information - such 
as name, address, birthdate, passport, etc.
