Dave, as you no doubt are aware, demonstrations in Iran are flaring in
the wake of what is widely suspected to be major election fraud.

One of the first steps of the Iranian government during and after
the election was to restrict mobile (cell calls, texting) and
Internet access.

In response to this, new open proxies are appearing around the Net for
Iranian protesters to use, e.g.:
